The Harebrush

Panda Labs, a (whole, and imaginary) subsidiary of The Contraption Shop, has made a breakthrough! A hardwood paddle, with concentrated weight, an ergonomic handle, and the ability to leave deep bruises without the sting of bare wood. Months of research and development, failed iterations, materials science research (no, I'm not kidding at all), and careful sourcing has given rise to your next favorite paddle: The Harebrush!

This deceptively soft, hairbrush-pattern paddle is made from hand selected American Black Walnut, which is expertly finished to be as smooth as fresh satin. One side is bare, cold, smooth wood. The other is covered with a selectively sourced rabbit pelt applique for padding and for petting.

This is a sensation play powerhouse! The grain direction of the pelt runs from pommel to tip on this paddle, which gives you the ability to caress with it, use the fur around the edges to tickle, or deliver blows that start soft and build into surprising bruises. The dense wood of the back side acts as a perfect heat sink, cooling angry skin, only to deliver more devastation at a moment's notice.

The wood of this paddle has been hand sanded to a silky-smooth, satin surface, and is finished with our deep penetrating poly/oil blend, which offers excellent protection without the glossy, sticky surface of typical polyurethane finishes.

ALLERGY INFORMATION:

American Black Walnut: Although severe reactions are quite uncommon, black walnut has been reported as a sensitizer. Usually most common reactions simply include eye and skin irritation. If you have sensitivities to any wood, we recommend you do further research before purchasing.

Rabbit Pelt: If you have any eye, skin, or other allergies to live rabbits, or have had negative reactions to contact with rabbit pelts, we recommend you do further research before purchasing.

Finish: Mineral oil and oil-based polyurethane blend.
